Female students from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad visit REM

A group of female students from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, Department of Media Studies, visited the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, with the aim of getting acquainted with the work of the Regulator in the field of media policy development in Serbia. 

At the meeting with the Director, Ms Rajka Galin Ćertić, and representatives of technical services, the guests discussed the latest bylaw provisions within the Regulator’s competence, which are part of the public consultation on 15 draft rulebooks, especially as regards the protection of human rights, protection of the rights of minors and the election campaign. 

Female students who visited the Regulator over the past six months have worked on developing a vision for the future of the media, in which they would like to work as professionals in 2040, as part of the regional initiative Media 2040: Empowering Young Advocates for Media Freedom in the Western Balkans.
